The Cameroonian-Norwegian-based MC, International MC Charlene came out victorious in the Best Female Hype Act of the Year category at the Scream Awards in Nigeria. She beat six Nigerians in the category to return home with the trophy. Charlene shared the news on her social media with the caption:
“My Loves, my Energy Squad, y’all really voted for me! Thank you all so much for voting for me as Female Hype Act of the Year at the 2024 Scream Awards in Nigeria!! I was the only non-Nigerian nominated in this category and I won!! Whoop whoop! I am grateful, like seriously!”
