The management of the Nigerian Press Council (NPC) has dissociated the Executive Secretary of the agency, Dr. Dili Ezughah, from the fake facebook and instagram accounts recently opened in his name.
In a statement, NPC’s Director of Legal, Mrs. Ngozi Ikeyi said the Executive Secretary “is not on any of these aforementioned social media platforms, and he has never solicited funds or sought any assistance via these platforms”.
Ikeyi urged the public to disregard and ignore those fake social media accounts, as they were the handiwork of fraudsters.
