A Kuje Magistrate Court on Wednesday granted N500,000 bail to a House of Representatives member for Aba North and South, Hon. Alex Ikwechegh.
Ikwechegh was arraigned for allegedly assaulting an e-hailing driver, Mr. Stephen Abuwatseya, who went to deliver a package to him driver at his Abuja residence.
The action of the lawmaker went viral in a video on social media.
In the video, the lawmaker could be heard threatening the driver and assuring him that he could make him disappear without a trace.
