It was a promise made and kept as Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo completed the construction of the 12.5 kilometre Ezira-Umuomaku-Enugu Umuonyia-Achina Road, linking several communities.
With the ongoing and completed road projects in the state, Soludo has literally turned the state into a construction site in his pursuit of transforming the state into a country-wide destination brand.
According to a community leader in Omuoanyia, Mr. Izuchuckwu Eze, the governor, who has been embarking on several road rehabilitation projects, kept his promise with the 12.5km road, which “will make our communities along the road easily accessible, farm products available to other parts of the state, and small-scale businesses in the locality boosted”.
