The second Aba Reunion Global Convention will hold in Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America from 11 to 13 September 2026.
A Convention Planning Committee has been constituted, made up of Board of Trustees (BoT) members and some group members in the USA, United Kingdom and Nigeria.
A Dallas-based businessman and President of the Aba Reunion, Chief Chuck Enyinna told the media in an online conference that the convention would hold at the Jazzy J Banquet Centre n College Park, Georgia.
‘The Banquet Centre is located at 5134 Old National Highway, Suite 1 College Park, Georgia’, Enyinna stated.
He further disclosed that the committee has also secured bookings for members desiring to lodge at Marriot Hotel in Atlanta.
A member of the BoT and head of the Planning Committee, Chief Okechukwu Waboso expressed satisfaction with progress made towards hosting the convention in Atlanta, where he resides.
‘We are on track to host our members from all over the world for the second Convention, and for us in Atlanta, we have completed arrangements for the venue, the consumables, and lodging.
‘We are also negotiating to have a seamless transit from the airport to Marriott Hotel and the Banquet Centre on the days of the Convention’, Waboso announced.
The Aba Reunion is a global association for men and women who grew up in the commercial town from the 1970s to the early 1990s.
The first convention attracted professionals, businessmen, and politicians and was held in Dallas, Texas in 2024.
Enyinna disclosed that members at the convention in Atlanta would vote to ratify a proposal for homecoming convention in 2028.
