The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is reportedly set to announce the reappointment of Otto Addo as Black Stars’ new head coach on Friday, 15th March 2024.

According to footballghana.com, multiple reports in the local media suggest that the GFA has handed Addo a long-term contract.

The team crashed out in the group stage after failing to win any of their three fixtures.

If appointed, Addo’s first assignment will be against Uganda and Nigeria in an international friendly in Marrakech, Morocco in March 2024.

He was in charge when the Black Stars pipped the Eagles to the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying ticket.

In his first stint as Black Stars coach, Addo was in charge of 12 games and recorded four wins, four draws and four defeats.
