The Adetunji-Abdul Foundation has put smiles on the faces of indigent residents by distributing over 4,000 relief packages to indigenes of the four local government areas in Akoko division of Ondo State.

During the distribution of the relief packages to the representatives of the council areas, Mr. Adetunji Abdul, also known as ATM, said the gesture is to help cushion the effect of the harsh economy on them.

The distribution of relief packages is the third in its series by the Adetunji Abdul Foundation since the outbreak of COVID 19.

The event started with a visit to the palace of the Olukare of Ikare, Oba Akadiri Momoh where the monarch prayed for Abdul and commended him for the initiative.

The train then moved to his father’s house in Ikare Akoko where the relief packages were distributed to representatives of the council areas.

The Grand Mufti of Ondo State, Alhaji Shehu Batuta commended Abdul for always helping the people by alleviating their suffering even in a harsh economy.

Abdul’s uncle, Alhaji Momoh Jimoh said the convener is a good son of the soil and this shows in his strides to make Akoko land succeed.

The beneficiaries thanked the foundation for the gesture, saying the package would go a long way in helping them.

They also called on indigenes to live in peace and harmony for the land to grow and prosper.
