19 months after Air Peace suspended flight service to Kaduna International Airport, Kaduna State, over insecurity, the airline, on Friday, said it will resume operation on 23 October 2023.

Air Peace on 28th March 2022, had suspended flight service to Kaduna airport after bandits gunned down a local guard attached to the Nigerian Airspace Management Authority (NAMA).

In a press statement by the spokesperson of the airline, Stanley Olisa, who confirmed that the Kaduna route has been inactive since March 2022 due to insecurity, said the airline is delighted to be resuming connectivity to the city after the 19-month hiatus.

He also disclosed that the airline is planning another special flight to Antigua and Barbuda on 30 October 2023.

“Kaduna flight schedules are now live on the Air Peace website and tickets are selling already. We are happy to be resuming connectivity to the city”, the spokesperson added.

Speaking on the Antigua and Barbuda flight, Olisa said, the airline is gearing up for its second special Business Trip to the Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda in partnership with Tour Brokers International.

According to Olisa, the trip is targeted at business owners, high-level executives, investors, and individuals with high net worth looking to explore investment opportunities in the two-island nation as well as tourists.

“We are partnering with Tour Brokers International which is offering a comprehensive package deal that includes ticket prices and hotel accommodation. It is a five-day trip. Departure from Lagos is on 30 October to return on 5 November 2023”, Olisa said.

It would be recalled that the airline made history in August 2023 as the first Nigerian airline to fly directly to Antigua and Barbuda.
