Chuba Akpom grabbed a brace as Ajax claimed a 3-1 away win against PEC Zwolle in their Eredivisie clash on Sunday.
Akpom scored six minutes before the half hour mark to put Ajax two goals up in the game.
The striker netted his second of the game with six minutes left on the clock to make it 3-1 in favour of the visitors.
The Nigerian-born forward has now scored nine goals in 13 league appearances for Ajax this season.
The win was Ajax’s first in five Eredivisie games having drawn three and lost one of their previous four outings.
The former champions moved up to fifth position in the table with 44 points from 27 games.
