The Progressive Young Leaders Summit of the All Progressive Congress (APC), which is scheduled for 18th and 19th September in Abuja, will attract many leaders, candidates, elders and youths of the party from across the country, accroding to the organisers.
Organised by the APC youth wing, led by the National Youth Leader, Hon. Dayo Israel, the summit is described as first of its kind as it will gather thousands of the party’s young minds, who will participate either physically or online to address and set agenda towards the the forthcoming general elections.
Israel said the summit is designed to unite the Nigerian youths and make them understand the task ahead, which is to win the forthcoming elections.
According to him, the number of participants that registered for the summit is quite significant, adding it would be set a road map for the party, considering the pivotal roles that the youths play in politics.
Israel projected that, being the ruling party, APC would produce the next president of the country, saying that “there is no strong opposition that can match the popularity and capacity of our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
He was sure that the summit would serve as a symbol of national integration and unity amongst Nigerian youths across the country.
