Aviation Ministry appoints Agbebire FAAN Director

The Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development has appointed Henry Agbebire as Director of Special Duties for the Federal Aviation Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

Until this appointment, he was Special Assistant to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development on special assignment to FAAN to report on airport administration and operations (South-West).

Agbebire, who has acquired experience in diverse disciplines including human capital development, project management, consultancy, life coaching, and publishing over the past 29 years, is highly skilled with a record of surpassing expectations.

He has achieved personal and corporate objectives as demonstrated by completion of sundry personnel development consultancy projects and publication of several self-development books.

Agbebire was a member of the special Ministerial Task Force set up to oversee the smooth transition of airlines from the old terminal to the newterminal.

He has spent decades in the corporate training and learning development sector, providing professional services to leading organisations – corporate and government.

He also worked as Senior Special Assistant at the Senate.

As a team player with highly developed interpersonal, communication, persuasive, and coordinating skills, Agbebire has good networking skills with an ability to relate to all levels of business, social and political contacts.

He is reputed for his communication and culture change programme through training in leading banks and other corporate organisations in Nigeria.

His vast experience, skills, knowledge and energy from working and consulting for reputable corporate and government organisations prprepared m adequately to take up the role of Director of Special Duties at FAAN, where he is expected to drive the organisation’s change programme and take up all special projects required to invigorate the system and cause the much desired transformation in the aviation industry.

Agbebire has a first degree (B.A.) and master’s (M.A) from the University of Benin and the University of Lagos, respectively.

He has authored 16 published books.

He is married and the union is blessed  with children.
