Nigerian Afrobeats star Ayra Starr has been announced as the headline performer for the halftime show of the 2026 NFL London Game.
The singer will perform during the Week 5 fixture between the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Sunday, 11 October 2026.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 2.30pm British Summer Time, with Ayra Starr’s performance forming part of the NFL’s expanded international entertainment programme.
The performance is expected to mark the first time a major African artist has headlined an NFL London Game halftime show.
The London event, presented by American Express, is one of seven halftime performances planned across the NFL’s 2026 International Games.
Reacting to the announcement, Ayra Starr described the opportunity as a dream come true, saying London was one of her favourite cities and that she was excited to take her music to the NFL’s international audience.
The performance comes after the release of her third studio album, Starrgirl, which features collaborations with ZAYN, Leon Thomas and fellow Nigerian star Wizkid.
Tim Tubito, the NFL’s senior director of global game presentation, music and entertainment, said London remained one of the world’s most influential music cities and described Ayra Starr as a “generational talent” with a strong connection to the market.
The Eagles and Jaguars will face each other at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as part of the NFL’s expanded international schedule for 2026.
