Friday, 10 October 2025, will remain a memorable day for Mr. Oluseun Awonuga, as the management and staff of Babalakin & Co. held a special ceremony in his honour to celebrate his elevation to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
The event, held at the firm’s Lagos headquarters, drew partners, associates, and well-wishers who described the achievement as a milestone in the firm’s tradition of excellence.
In his welcome address, the firm’s Managing Partner, Mr. Wale Akoni, also a SAN, expressed deep pride in Awonuga’s accomplishment.

The Founder/Principal Partner of the firm, Dr. Wale Babalakin (SAN) congratulated Awonuga on the feat, noting that the firm takes pride in nurturing talent that rises to national and international prominence.
