Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in a summer swoop for Atalanta BC winger Ademola Lookman.
The 26-year-old enjoyed an excellent season in the Italian Serie A, finding the net on 11 occasions and providing seven assists for his teammates across 31 league appearances.
Despite his sterling domestic performances, it was Lookman’s displays on the continental, the UEFA Europa League that stole the headlines, with the former Everton scoring a sublime hat-trick against Bayer Leverkusen in the final to help Atalanta win their first-ever European trophy.
Since making the switch from Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig to the Italians during the summer of 2022, Lookman has scored 32 times in 78 matches across all competitions for La Dea.
After improving massively in the last two seasons, the ex-Fulham loanee has attracted serious interest from top clubs across the continent, according to the Daily Mail.
According to the English outlet, Serie A giants Juventus and German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich have their sights on Lookman ahead of the new season.
Several top Premier League clubs are also huge admirers of the 26-year-old, who has experience in England at Charlton Athletic, Everton, Fulham, and Leicester City.
With his current contract with Atalanta expiring in 2026, Lookman is said to be content at Atalanta but keeping his options open ahead of the pre-season.
