The interview with the evicted “Big Brother Naija” contestants, known as the Radicals, revealed their surprise at being nominated by fellow housemates, Doublekay. This interview took place on 4 September, 2024, shortly after their eviction on 1 September, 2024.
Fairme and Micky, the two members of the Radicals, were particularly shocked by the nomination from Doublekay because they believed they had a strong alliance in the house.
In the interview, Micky mentioned that they considered Doublekay part of their “Bendel family,” implying a bond based on their shared regional background. Fairme, who is of Itsekiri descent like Kellyrae from Doublekay, expressed his disbelief at the consistent nominations against them, especially since he had never nominated Doublekay and had even supported them during the Head of House challenge.
He mentioned that once Kellyrae is out of the house, he would like to understand the reason behind their strategy of nominating the Radicals. Both members of the Radicals were clear that while they expected some surprises, Doublekay’s nominations were particularly unexpected.
