Victory and Gigi Jasmine have been evicted from BBNaija Season 10, making them the sixth and seventh housemates to exit the show as it enters its fifth week.
The decision follows the latest public vote, which saw Victory and Gigi Jasmine garner the lowest support among viewers of the show, leading to their departure from the popular reality TV show.
Prior to Victory and Gigi Jasmine’s exit, housemates Danboskid, Ibifubara, Kayikunmi, and Ortega had already been evicted, each leaving the competition after facing the weekly elimination process.
Sabrina, however, exited the show due to health reasons, bringing the total number of departures to seven.
Meanwhile, Jason Jae, has again claimed the Head of House crown after emerging Interim HOH during Sunday night’s games.
This marks the second time Jason is securing the title this season, further cementing his position as one of the strong contenders alongside Doris in the house.
The sack race-themed challenge, which took place shortly after the live eviction show that sent Victory and Gigi Jasmine packing, tested the agility and coordination of the housemates.
Each contestant was required to step into a sack, hold it firmly, and hop to the finish line.
The winners advanced to the next stage of the contest, while the poorest performer was assigned the ‘Snail of the House’ role.
At the end of the tense round, Jason Jae was declared the winner, while Mide was named House Snail for Week 5.
The punishment places her on compulsory toilet-cleaning duties throughout the week and also automatically puts her up for eviction.
Doris, who was dethroned by Zita last Monday, was the only female housemate who progressed to the qualifier round of the HOH games, but she fell short of clinching the title.
Zita, last week’s HOH, now hands over leadership to Jason.
Big Brother officially announced Jason’s win, saying, ‘For the second time this season, Jason is your Head of House’.
Sultana was expected to be selected as the HOH due to their bond but to many surprise, Jason went on to select Koyin as his house guest, granting him access to the exclusive HOH lounge.
Jason’s tenure, however, is not yet secure. He will have to defend his position in the upcoming HOH challenge on Monday.
If unsuccessful, he risks being replaced as the Interim HOH title is only valid until the official contest is concluded.
