The emotional moment came hours after Keivo emerged as the Head of House for Week Nine.
It also followed Barry’s decision to use the Ultimate Veto Power to grant all the housemates immunity and secure their places in the finale, although the housemates are yet to be informed of the decision.
Having spent more than two months away from their families and friends, the messages provided the housemates with an emotional reminder of the support awaiting them outside the house.
While some struggled to contain their emotions, others consoled their fellow housemates as the messages played.
The emotional reunion came as the reality show entered its final two weeks, with the housemates now assured of places in the finale as the competition for the grand prize intensifies.
