In a surprising turn of events, Tami, the dynamic duo composed of Toyosi and Damilola, has been evicted from the Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ Season 9 house.

Despite their best efforts to win over their fellow housemates and viewers, they failed to gain enough support and were voted out of the competition.

With only one week to make a lasting impression, Tami’s stay in the house was short-lived as they were evicted on Sunday.

Their departure marks the first eviction of the season, leaving the remaining housemates to continue the battle for the coveted prize.

This eviction reduces the number of pairs to 13, setting the stage for intense competition and shifting house dynamics.

Initially, four pairs received the least votes: Chekas (Chizoba and Onyeka), Streeze (Mayor Frosh and Toby Forge), Radicals (Mickhy and Fairme David), and Tami (Toyosi and Dami).

However, the custodians, Chinne and Nne, exercised their power, granted by Big Brother, and they saved the Radicals.

The remaining saved pairs were then asked to vote out a pair in the diary room, ultimately leading to Tami’s eviction.

Meanwhile, Mayor Frosh and Toby Forge, known in the house as Streeze, have won the custodian challenge of week 2.

Their win comes with immunity from eviction going into the second week, and guarantees them at least another week in the BBNaija house.

Earlier on Sunday night, Streeze were up for eviction but got saved by housemates who voted for them to stay in the house.

The grand prize for this season is a spectacular ₦100 million, which includes a cash prize and an SUV, with additional sponsored prizes to be announced.

The show which is now going into its second week will run for 10 weeks, concluding with the finale on Sunday, 6 October 2024.
