The Bobajiro of Ilesa, Osun State, Engr Dideolu Falobi has congratulated the new Owa Obokun Adimula, Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup Ajimoko III, pledging his loyalty to the paramount ruler of Ijesaland.
In the congratulatory message on 29 December 2024, Falobi pointed out that the emergence of Hasstrup was a testament to the grace and benevolence of the Almighty God in his life, adding that he was confident that the new monarch’s leadership would bring peace, unity, progress to people and the kingdom
Falobi wrote: “I extend the warmest congratulations of my family and I to you on your ascension to the throne of your forefathers, the ancient and revered throne of Owa Obokun Adimula and Paramount ruler of Ijesaland.
“Your appointment is a testament to the grace and benevolence of the almighty God in your life and I am confident that your leadership will bring peace, unity, and progress to our people and kingdom.
The notable Ijesa high chief emphasised that, given the antecedents of the monarch, he was optimistic that his appointment would not only sustain the train of development already on the move in Ijesaland, it would enhance the speed and perfect its course
“As one of the honorary chiefs of the kingdom, I pledge my loyalty and support to your majesty. I am committed to working closely with you to promote the interests of our kingdom and ensure the well-being of our citizens. May your reign be long, peaceful, and prosperous. Amen. Please accept our heartfelt congratulations once again”, Falobi said.
Last Sunday, Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke presented the staff of office to Oba Haastrup, who succeeded Oba Adekunle Aromolaran, who died last September at 86 years and reigned for 43 years.
