Nigerian comedian and content creator Broda Shaggi has returned to social media months after he was reportedly shot while filming in Ogun State.
The entertainer had been inactive on social media since March 2026, following the incident said to have occurred at Sango Ota Bridge in Ogun State.

Reports at the time indicated that the Lagos State Police Command confirmed receiving information about the incident from a private hospital in the Alakuko area, where the comedian was initially taken for treatment.

Broda Shaggi broke his silence in an emotional video posted on his Instagram page late on Tuesday, describing the incident as “a day in my life I wished never happened”.

The footage showed the entertainer being rushed to a hospital with a gunshot wound, with visible blood stains on his body.

He disclosed that the shooting took place on 9 March 2026 but did not provide further details in the video.

The comedian, however, promised to give the public a fuller account of the incident on Wednesday.

His return to social media comes after months of uncertainty among fans over his health and whereabouts following reports of the shooting.

The development is expected to provide further insight into the circumstances surrounding the incident as fans await his promised account.
