Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy has honored his pledge by offering financial support to Bethel Okechukwu, a phone repairer from Alaba Market who had claimed to be related to Celebrity Barman, Cubana Chief Priest.

This is coming amid Burna Boy’s ongoing feud with Cubana Chief Priest, which has drawn significant public attention.

Burna Boy had previously shared a video of Okechukwu, shedding light on his struggles to make ends meet, and vowed to give him $30,000 to change his circumstances.

Okechukwu, in turn, had revealed plans to use the funds to set up a shop and promised to update Burna Boy on his progress.

In the latest development, Burna Boy fulfilled this promise, eliciting gratitude and joy from Okechukwu.

In a video shared on Instagram, Okechukwu expressed appreciation, thanking Burna Boy for helping him escape poverty. He also called on Nigerians to join him in celebrating the singer’s generosity, saying, “God is real, Odogwu #burnaboygram, God has used you to pull me out from poverty. I will be forever grateful. Please, people, help me thank him for me.”

It was reported that Cubana Chief Priest and Burna Boy have been embroiled in a heated feud since Friday sparking widespread attention online.
