The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hassan Bala Abubakar, has described Visionary leadership as a key to success, the Chief of Air Staff is speaking at a lecture titled ‘From Vision to Reality: Strategic Leadership Insights from the CAS Command Philosophy’.

The statement added the In his lecture, Air Marshal Abubakar emphasized the importance of visionary leadership in transforming strategic goals into actionable realities.
He noted that the effectiveness of command lies not merely in authority but in influence, integrity, and the ability to inspire subordinates towards collective excellence.
CAS urged officers to embrace innovation, discipline and teamwork in executing their duties. He stressed that true leadership involves guiding others to see opportunities even in the face of challenges.
The lecture attracted a robust interactive session, where the CAS responded to the students’ thought-provoking questions on leadership, command philosophy and inter-service cooperation.
In his welcome address the Commandant Armed forces Command and staff college Jaji Kaduna AFCSC, Air Vice Marshal Hassan Idris Alhaji in his remarks, thanked the CAS for his insightful presentation and responses.
He described the lecture as both inspiring and timely and noted that the message reinforced the essence of leadership development at the College. He then urged students to apply the lessons learnt to their professional conduct and service delivery.
In attendance were the Air Officer Commanding Air Training Command, the Commandants of Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Air Force Institute of Technology, Warrant Officers’ Academy and Military Training Centre. Others were, the deputy Commandant AFCSC, Rear Admiral AC Uko, Directors, Chief Instructors, Members of the Directing and Administrative Staff.
The beneficiaries were Students of Senior Course 47 and Junior Course 100 of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC), Kaduna Nigeria.
Highlights of the event were presentation of souvenir to the Guest Lecturer by the Commandant AFCSC, vote of thanks by Lieutenant Commander SO Emiola and a group photograph to commemorate the occasion.
