Entertainment Bus-Stop Ltd, in partnership with First Bank of Nigeria Limited, proudly announces the 10th edition of The Family Meeting series — a landmark event held in commemoration of the United Nations’ International Day of Families.

This year’s edition, themed ‘Preserve Our Family Unity in Peace, Security and Moral Values’, invites parents, students, and key community stakeholders to participate in open, thought-provoking conversations about the vital role of the family unit in shaping responsible and resilient citizens.

Recognizing the family as the foundational institution for imparting moral values, this event focuses on the intentional efforts needed by parents and caregivers to create nurturing environments. These include instilling vital soft skills such as attentive listening, emotional intelligence, and a sympathetic presence — tools that help children navigate the complex social, emotional, and spiritual challenges of modern life.

In a time of global uncertainty and shifting cultural norms, the Family Meeting serves as a timely reminder that peace, security, and moral grounding begin at home. Emphasis will be placed on reinforcing value-based family dynamics built on respect, integrity, and the cultural traditions that have long guided our communities.

This milestone 10th edition is proudly supported by First Bank of Nigeria Limited, whose long-standing tradition of family-focused banking aligns with the mission of this initiative. As a pioneer in the financial sector, First Bank continues to evolve with technology while creating platforms that nurture intergenerational relationships and empower families to thrive.

The event will take place at The National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos, on Saturday, 17 May, 2025, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.

Notable speakers confirmed for the 2025 edition include:
• Mrs. Debbie Odutayo – CEO, Royal Roots Communication Network
• Engr. Ifeanyichukwu Avajah – Former Chairman, Association of Nigerian Authors
• Onome Odili – Moderator of the event

Now in its 10th year, The Family Meeting series remains a key Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by Entertainment Bus-Stop Ltd, fostering community dialogue and sustainable family engagement. This year’s edition is also supported by Sovereign Trust Insurance, Leadership Empowerment and Resource Network, and the National Theatre.

At the heart of the project is a simple but profound belief: Families grow stronger when they do meaningful things together.

Join us as we celebrate a decade of family unity, shared learning, and impactful conversations.
