Chelsea have decided to wait until the summer to conduct a review of Mauricio Pochettino’s performance in his first season, despite a section of their supporters calling for the Argentine’s sacking following a 5-0 defeat to Arsenal on Tuesday evening.
Two goals from Kai Havertz, another double from Ben White and Leandro Trossard’s early goal sealed the win for the Gunners.
It was the Blues’ 11th in the English Premier League this season and put a dent on their hopes of securing European football next season.
Chelsea’s loss at Arsenal came days after they lost 1-0 to Manchester City in the English FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.
But MailOnline reports that Pochettino will remain in charge regardless of how the season unravels and his performance will be the subject of a full review once the campaign is over.
