CIBN holds 2023 AGM 20th May

The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) has concluded arrangements for its 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, 20th May. The hybrid event – physical at Ijewere Hall, Bankers House, Victoria Island, Lagos; and online via Zoom – is scheduled to start by 10 am.

To be presided over by its President/Chairman of Council, Dr. Ken Opara, the meeting is expected to be attended by dignitaries from the banking and other sectors of the economy such as chairmen of banks; Managing Director/Chief Executives of banks, CIBN past presidents, presidents of other professional bodies and top government, among others.

The annual reports, accounts, auditor’s report, adoption of the minutes of last year’s AGM and other matters affecting the Institute and the welfare of members will be considered at the meeting.

The meeting, which is to be hosted by the Registrar/Chief Executive, Akin Morakinyo will also be available on Institute’s youtube platforms.
