The Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police, Force CID Annex, Lagos, AIG Margaret Agebe Ochalla has been commended for her exemplary service and admirable track record within Nigeria and beyond.
A delegation of CMC Group, including notable figures from the media and entertainment industries, which visited her recently, described the senior police officer as a beacon of integrity and a true role model in law enforcement.
The Publisher of The Gladiators magazine, Cornel Udofia, which led the team, said that the purpose of the visit was to express support for Ochalla’s efforts in the fight against crime, the promotion of justice, and the strengthening of national security under her leadership as the 54th AIG at FCID Annex, Lagos.
Udofia, who is also the Founder of Kick Against Crime in Our Society, praised her zero-tolerance stance on corruption and her dedication to maintaining high standards of integrity, in line with the vision of the Inspector General of Police.
The courtesy visit featured the formal presentation of an award to Ochalla in recognition of her outstanding achievements, steadfast professionalism, and unwavering commitment to upholding human rights and promoting excellence in policing.
The delegation formally introduced its magazine, entertainment, and security platforms to Ochalla, with the aim of establishing a mutually beneficial working relationship. The team also took the opportunity to recognise and decorate the Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent Mayegun Aminat for her hard work, professionalism, and dedication within the Nigeria Police Force.
Ochalla expressed her heartfelt appreciation to Udofia and the CMC delegation for the honour. She acknowledged the vital role of the media in crime prevention and law enforcement, emphasising the importance of sustained collaboration between the police and media professionals. She encouraged the group to continue their advocacy and pledged her support for joint efforts aimed at achieving lasting, positive change in Nigeria.
