Four hours after popular activist and social media influencer, Martins Vincent Otse aka VeryDarkMan pleaded with music superstar, Davido to give his former signee, Dammy Krane a second chance to turn a new leaf, Davido in his magnanimity has responded as Dammy Krane has been released.

In a short video with VDM, Dammy Krane apologized for his actions and promised to focus on his music henceforth.

He also hinted at a possible collaboration with Davido.

Earlier, VDM  had made a video clip of his plea to Davido, asking him to release Dammy Krane who was holed up in a cell in FCID, Abuja.

He explained that he went to the police station to thank officers who have been assisting him in his cases and on his way out, somebody told him that a celebrity with dreadlocks was in a cell in FCID.

He went there and saw Dammy Krane, who according to VDM, needs help as he is probably depressed on account of his continuous descent in the music industry.

VDM said: “ You always attack him and his family unprovoked. You said he owes you, yet you cannot provide evidence. You accused Davido of killing his friend, Tagbo, without proof.  We know the story of Tagbo, he drank till he went down. As I see am, hand don touch am, I want to take money for him for food. Davido, you are my brother you are not an oppressor, you have been pushed to the wall. Abeg, give him a second chance. He dey use you chase clout. He is depressed. Some people envy you. He don defame your name. I go come beg you for your DM. He dey insult me too.  All those wey dey talk about celebrities unprovoked, be careful or else you gonna learn the hard way”.

Dammy Krane, in a series of tweets on X, accused Davido of paying authorities to falsely accuse him of involvement in a Flutterwave and cryptocurrency fraud.
