“Talent City Naija is my vision to create a hub where Nigeria’s most skillful and creative young talents can thrive. It will be a space for them to live comfortably, work together, and showcase their crafts on a global stage.

In an interview with newsmen, Dr Laff noted that he had made preparations ahead of the challenge.
‘My preparation has been top-notch. Mentally, my morale is high. I have been aligning my jokes for the past seven months, and I must say it is going well. I have also tested my mental endurance, and the results have been positive. I exercise, take lengthy walks, and even stand still for hours on several occasions to test how long I can last without sitting or resting,’ he said.
The current Guinness World Record for the longest stand-up comedy show by an individual stands at 40 hours and 8 minutes, a title held by David Scott, aka The Midnight Swinger, from the United States, who set the record in 2013.
In 2016, Nigerian comedian Tony Mofe-Reeku, also known as Gandoki, was reported to have completed a 48-hour comedy marathon, but the claim could not be independently verified on GWR’s website.
