Dufil Prima Foods wins SABRE Award, as Chain Reactions, Integrated Indigo, TPT, others receive nominations

Finalists for the 2025 Africa SABRE Awards have been announced with one of Nigeria’s leading PR firms, Chain Reactions Africa already winning for its client, Dufil Prima Foods, the Company of the Year category with Indomie Heroes Award as its entry.

The recognition was earned through the the makers of Indomie Noodles’s groundbreaking work on the Indomie Heroes Awards, a long-running Corporate Social Responsibility initiative that honours the bravery and selflessness of Nigerian children. The campaign, which showcases real-life stories of courage, has not only touched hearts but also reinforced Indomie’s position as a purpose-driven brand.

As announced by the organisers of the prestigious continental awards, PRovoke Media, Chain Reactions, which won seven awards at the 2024 SABRE Awards, and several others in the previous years, has received a remarkable eight nominations, while another major Nigerian PR firm, Integrated Indigo followed closely with five nominations — a testament to the innovation and impact both firms continue to deliver in Africa’s dynamic PR landscape.

Also nominated for the awards are prestigious PR firms, TPT International, SKOT Communications, Bobby Taylor, Blanche Aigle Communications and Image Merchants Promotion.

The shortlist includes more than 120 campaigns, selected from over 500 entries in this year’s competition, which recognises superior achievement in branding, reputation and engagement. The campaigns were evaluated by a jury of industry leaders.

The 2025 Africa SABRE Awards will take place on 12 June 12 in Mombasa, Kenya at the PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort & Spa Mombasa.

The SABRE Awards (which stands for Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation and Engagement) celebrate the very best of PR campaigns across Africa, with entries judged on their creativity, content, strategy, and measurable results.

Founder and Editor-in-Chief of PRovoke Media, Paul Holmes said: ‘We saw more entries from more agencies than ever before. Once again, the quality of work was outstanding — not only in content and creativity, but increasingly in strategic planning and measurement. The quality of storytelling is exceptional, and the best work in Africa is on par with the best in the world’.

Winners will be officially announced in two weeks on the PRovoke Media website, ahead of the African SABRE Awards Gala. The awards ceremony will form part of the African Public Relations Association annual conference, bringing together some of the brightest minds in communications across the continent.
