Media entrepreneur and Governor Nominee of Rotary International District 9112, Mr Ehi Braimah, and his wife, Oluwakemi, have celebrated 30 years of marriage, marking three decades of love, companionship and faith.

The couple marked the milestone on Monday, with family members, friends, professional associates and members of the Rotary community joining in celebrating their enduring union.

A commemorative anniversary message described their journey as one built on love, commitment, friendship and God’s faithfulness.

“Thirty years of love, commitment, friendship and God’s unfailing faithfulness,” the tribute read.

The message also offered prayers for continued strength, peace, good health and abundant blessings, expressing the hope that the couple would enjoy many more years of happiness together.

The anniversary comes at an important point in Braimah’s professional and humanitarian service journey.

He is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Naija Times and Lagos Post, as well as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Neo Media and Marketing, a public relations and marketing communications company.

His wife, Oluwakemi, is also actively involved in the media industry, serving as Group Executive Director of Naija Times.

Their professional association adds another dimension to their partnership, with both playing roles in the organisation’s operations within Nigeria’s digital publishing industry.

In a 2019 interview with The PUNCH, Braimah spoke about the importance of maintaining a balance between his professional commitments and family life.

“I create time to be with my family,” he said, explaining that they sometimes watched films together, went out to eat or travelled.

Beyond his business and media engagements, Braimah has built a longstanding career in Rotary International, where he has held several leadership positions.

In February 2026, he emerged as District Governor Nominee Designate of Rotary International District 9112, positioning him to serve as District Governor for the 2028–2029 Rotary year.

District 9112 comprises more than 86 Rotary clubs and over 2,300 Rotarians across parts of Lagos and Ogun states.

As District Governor, he is expected to provide strategic leadership, strengthen club performance, support humanitarian projects and advance Rotary’s service objectives.

His previous Rotary positions include President of the Rotary Club of Lagos between 2018 and 2019, District Secretary in 2021–2022 and Assistant Governor from 2022 to 2025.

He was also appointed Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator for Africa Zone 22, Region 27, for the 2025–2026 Rotary year.

In the media and marketing communications industry, Braimah founded Neo Media and Marketing in 2008, established Naija Times in 2020 and launched Lagos Post in 2021.

His professional achievements include receiving the University of Roehampton’s Distinguished Chancellor’s Alumni Award in the Inspiration and Innovation category in 2024.

He is also a member of the Nigerian Guild of Editors and the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers, as well as a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.

The role of Oluwakemi in his personal journey was also acknowledged in a 2023 birthday tribute published by TheCable.

In the tribute, media executive Mumini Alao described her as a “strong pillar of support” and recognised her contribution to the family. Alao also referred to her as Braimah’s wife of 27 years at the time.

As the couple mark their 30th wedding anniversary, their celebration highlights a shared journey shaped by family life, professional commitments, friendship and faith.

The anniversary tribute expressed the hope that their love would continue to flourish as they look forward to many more years of happiness and togetherness.
