The recently deposed Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado-Bayeo has announced the cancellation of the durbar ceremonies he initially planned to avoid breakdown of law and order in the state.

He also extended warm greetings to President Bola Tinubu, and Kano State Governor, Mallam Abba Yusuf, on the occasion of the Eid el Kabir celebration.

This was made known in a broadcast delivered at the Nassarawa mini palace on Saturday

“The cancellation of durbar activities follows security recommendations to maintain peace in the state”, he explained.

Also, the head of Dawaki, Aminu Agundi, announced that the deposed Emir will observe Eid prayer at the Nassarawa mini palace on Sunday at 8.00 am.

Agundi commended the public for their continuous prayers for peaceful coexistence in Kano and the nation at large.
