Electoral Bill: Senate goes into closed door session

The Senate has commenced a closed door deliberation on President Muhammadu Buhari’s veto of the Electoral Act (Amendment) Bill.
Senate President Ahmad Lawal another decision at the commencement of plenary at 10:42 am this Tuesday.
Having passed the bill on 19th November, the constitutional 30-day period for the President to sign the bill upon receiving it from the federal parliament lapsed on Sunday.
