Itel mobile company, makers of Itel mobile phones, has distributed branded school bags and learning materials to LEA Primary School and Junior Secondary Schools at Jikwoyi 2 Dagbana in FCT, Abuja.
This, it said, is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative in the sector.
The CSR initiative: “Love always on”, is aimed at empowering pupils and students.
Head of Itel’s Corporate Social Responsibility Unit, Partnerships and Events, noted that Itel is giving back to society through education.
“This is our means of giving back to society to celebrate Children’s Day. We do CSR every time, every year but Children’s Day for us is particular because children are future leaders”, Ogunpaimo said.
Headteacher, Abdullahi Adamu Karahi, hailed Itel for choosing the school.
Karahi appealed to other organisations to emulate Itel.
