The Senior Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, Lagos, Jimmy Odukoya, has introduced his new wife, Pastor Mo Odukoya, to his congregation.
The introduction took place during the church’s Sunday service on 1 November 2026 at its headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos State.
The development followed a social media post by the pastor on Saturday, in which he shared an image of two hands wearing wedding rings with the caption, “To New Beginnings”.
The post triggered speculation among his followers about a possible engagement or wedding, with several people sending congratulatory messages.
However, the speculation was confirmed on Sunday when Odukoya introduced his wife to the congregation as Pastor Mrs Odukoya.
Explaining his decision, the pastor said he had remained single for some time after taking over the leadership of the church before eventually finding a new partner.
He also referenced biblical teachings while speaking about the development.
During the service, the couple knelt before the General Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare, who offered prayers and blessings for their union.
Jimmy Odukoya was previously married to Oluwakemi Banjoko in London in 2013. The former couple had two children together before their separation.
