Nigerian gospel singer Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings, has been reported dead, sparking concern among fans and members of the gospel music community.

The report gained attention after the Convener of the Coalition of Public Interests Lawyers and Advocates (COPA), Pelumi Olajengbesi, shared a message on Instagram expressing sadness over the reported loss.

Olajengbesi lamented the deaths of young Nigerians and called for divine mercy, describing the development as distressing.

Sharing a photograph of the singer, he wrote, “My God! What a life! No, Lord! We plead for Your mercy upon Toluwanisings. I am deeply troubled by the deaths of young men and women. This is not God’s plan for us. We say no to untimely death.”

However, the reports have generated uncertainty, with fellow gospel entertainer and comedian Woli Agba urging people not to give up hope.

In a message shared on his social media page, Woli Agba appealed for continued prayers, expressing hope for a miracle.

“Please hold on. Please don’t conclude. We are trusting God. Please,” he wrote.

As of the time of filing this report, there was no official statement from Toluwanisings’ family confirming or denying the reports about his condition. The circumstances surrounding the reported development also remained unclear.
