HoR Deputy Speaker appoints Jerry Nwohu Special Adviser

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu has named a strategic scholar and political activist, Jerry Nwohu as his Special Adviser on Inter-Party Affairs.

With specialisation in peace building, security, and strategic studies, Nwohu holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and World Order from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He also has certification in Policy Analysis at London School of Economics and did courses on Cyber Security at Harvard University.

He holds degrees in Criminology and Security Studies. His Ph. D (in view, September 2023 External Defence) on Security and Strategic Studies at Nasarawa State University, Keffi is with bias on African Union Security Architecture and Conflict Management in South Sudan.

He is widely-travelled and has an exceptional relationship with a broad section of the society across race, ethnicity, gender, creed, and social status.

His robust experience, which includes stints at private, corporate, and governmental levels, establishes him as an exemplary rallying point of grassroots constituents.

Nwohu is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Nigeria Business Administrators and the Institute of Financial Analyst of Nigeria, the Nigeria Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management, and that of the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National university, Ukraine.

He is also a member of the Board of Criminologists Without Borders Development Initiatives (a platform for preventing crimes in the society), Criminology and Security Association of Nigeria, Nigeria Institute of National Intelligence Studies.
