The Emir of Ilorin Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari has rejoiced with the proprietor of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Aare Afe Babalola, on his 93rd birthday, describing the Senior Advocate of Nigeria as a “distinguished global citizen of all seasons”.
The Emir, who is also the Chairman of Kwara State Council of Chiefs, noted that Babalola is one of the highly respected Nigerians that has impacted positively on many generations in numerous ways.
In his goodwill message to the legal luminary issued on Saturday by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir said that Babalola is a highly successful legal practitioner, an accomplished educationist, a senior Nigerian citizen, a community leader, an elderstatesman, and a distinguished recipient of laurels, honours and awards both nationally and internationally.
