Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya is the new Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum.
As announced by the Forum on Tuesday, he will take over from outgoing Plateau State Governor, Rt. Hon. Simon Lalong, who was voted as the Chairman in 2019.
Yahaya, who was elected governor of the state in 2019, won his re-election bid for a second term in the February 2023 general election.
Like Lalong, Yahaya is a member of the All Progressives Congress.
