Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has said he has shared his opinion with the club on the future of Mason Greenwood.
However, Ten Hag admits the final decision rests with the Red Devils’ hierarchy.
The 21-year-old remains suspended from training and matches until United complete an internal investigation.
This is despite the Crown Prosecution Service discontinuing its case against Greenwood for attempted rape, engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
“It’s a club decision. Of course I have said my ideas and opinions but it’s a club decision. We all have to accept that,” Ten Hag said.
When asked if Ten Hag wants Greenwood to stay, he said: “I can’t say so much about it. But what I say is I shared my opinion about it so let’s see what’s going to happen and what the decision will be”.
