Jigawa police sympathises with Namadi over son’s death

The Jigawa State Police Commissioner, AT Abdullahi, on Thursday, expressed his condolences to the state governor, Umar Namadi, his immediate family and relatives, the state government, and the entire people of the state over the tragic death of the governor’s eldest son.

He died in an incident 24 hours after the governor’s mother died.

He has since been buried in his hometown according to Islamic rites.

“The command is using this platform to offer prayers for Abdulwahab Umar Namadi’s soul to rest in peace and be granted Jannatul Firdausi”, the CP said.

In a similar vein, the Commissioner of Police also expressed sympathy to Namadi on behalf of the command’s officers and men and prayed for him to be comforted and courageous in the face of such a monumental loss.
