Governor Nasir El-Rufai on Tuesday inaugurated the Kaduna State 2023 Transition Committee.
The committee is chaired by the Secretary to the State Government, Balarabe Abbas Lawal, who served in the same capacity 2015 and vice-chairman in 2019.
Also appointed into the committee was the Permanent Secretary Cabinet and Political Affairs, Nuhu Isyaku Buzun, who will serve as secretary to the committee.
A statement from the Government House stated that the 65-person committee would prepare the roadmap for implementing the manifesto of the incoming government which has at its core a governance agenda to continue the progress recorded in the state since 2015.
The committee will also arrange the ceremonies to usher in the new government.
Senator Uba Sani of the ruling All Progressives Congress is the Governor-elect.
