The Kano State government has revoked the operating licence of actress Samha M. Inuwa over alleged indecent dressing and posting of vulgar content.
The government also censored any films featuring the actress.
In a statement on Saturday, the Information Officer of the state’s Censorship Board, Abdullahi Sani Sulaiman explained that Inuwa, who was repeatedly warned over her “crude dressing and vulgar displays”, has continued to flout the Board’s regulations.
She was barred from appearing in any films for the next 12 months.
According to the statement, the development was in response to multiple complaints received from citizens of the state regarding her conduct.
