Katsina Hisbah boss resigns from office

Dr Aminu Usman, popularly known as Abu Ammar, has resigned as the Commander-General of the Katsina State Hisbah Board with immediate effect.

Usman announced his resignation in a letter dated October 5 and addressed to the Secretary to the State Government at the Governor’s Office, State Secretariat Complex, Katsina.

The former commander-general did not disclose any reason for his decision to leave office.

He, however, expressed gratitude to Governor Dikko Radda for the confidence, trust, opportunity and support extended to him throughout his tenure.

“It has been a great honour and privilege to serve the good people of Katsina State under your administration,” he said.

Usman said he was grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the development, peace, security and moral well-being of the state.

He also appreciated Radda’s leadership, guidance and support during his time in office.

The former commander-general prayed for God’s continued guidance and blessings for the governor, as well as wisdom and good health to enable him to continue serving the state.

He further prayed for continued peace, development and prosperity for Katsina State and its people.

“Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest respect and profound gratitude,” Usman stated.
