Singer Teniola Apata popularly known as Teni has revealed the cause of heartbreaks in relationships.
According to the ‘Malaika’ crooner, being deceitful in a relationship is one of the major reasons for heartbreak.
She made the statement in a recent video shared online.
Teni suggested that more people should be honest with themselves too by knowing their place and not overvaluing their importance when in relationships.
She encouraged people to say the truth, as she admits that some people cannot handle the truth.
She said: “It is because people don’t like telling the truth, that is why there are heartbreaks. You have not been asked out but in your head, you are in a relationship, but you will be angry seeing them with other people.
“Relax, If they are told the truth, they can resort to violent measures because of the information received so it is best to not be honest with such individuals”.
