The Lagos Multi-Sector Trade Fair, originally scheduled for 2 — 4 April 2026, has been postponed indefinitely.
Organisers of the annual trade show said that the development was due to certain situations beyond its control and global developments impacting the local economy.
The Team Lead of the event’s organising committee, Mr. Olajide Ige said that a new date would be announced in the coming weeks.
He, however, said that the event venue remains De Blue Roof Events Centre, Agidingbi-Ikeja, Lagos.
Ige explained that the postponement came about from consultations with partners and sponsors, who reflected on the impacts of current global developments on local businesses.
‘However, this shift also allows us the opportunity to repackage certain components of the Fair to offer better business opportunities for sponsors, participants, investors, and visitors’, he said.
He assured that the fair would not deviate from its main objectives of promoting economic growth and development, creating an ideal platform for businesses to network and explore opportunities, and providing a strong support base for MSMEs and entrepreneurs by attracting investments and fostering partnerships.
According to Ige, the fair also showcases products and services across the various sectors to achieve the overall aim of boosting economic activity, creating opportunities, and stimulating growth in Lagos and beyond.
He announced that more innovations and benefits for participants and investors would be revealed soon and assured that existing commitments to partners remain, and new partnerships are welcome.
