The Lagos State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has inaugurated two key committees to drive preparations for the 2025 edition of the Lagos Public Relations Industry Gala and Awards (LaPRIGA), scheduled to hold on Friday, 12 December 2025, at the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos.
Founder/CEO of Skot Communications, Mrs. Tokunboh George-Taylor heads the Planning Committee; while communication strategist, scholar and author, Mr. Chido Nwakanma chairs the Selection Committee.
At the inauguration, the Chairman of the Lagos NIPR, Dr. Samuel Ayetutu expressed appreciation to the committee members for accepting the call to serve.
According to a statement by the chapter’s Public Relations Officer, Mr..Oguchukwu Okeke, the Chairman charged them to ensure that the 2025 edition of LaPRIGA stands out as the best in the history of the awards, building on the success and prestige of previous editions.
Accepting the assignments, George-Taylor and Nwakanma thanked the chapter leadership for the trust reposed in them and pledged their commitment to delivering an outstanding awards ceremony.
They assured that their teams would work tirelessly to uphold the integrity, relevance and glamour for which LaPRIGA has become renowned.
Widely regarded as the biggest night in Nigeria’s PR calendar, LaPRIGA celebrates excellence and recognises outstanding achievements by individuals and organisations in the public relations and communications industry.
