One of the Spanish sides remaining in this season’s UEFA Champions League will be eliminated at the Round of 16, which first leg will hold on 4 and 5 March with reverse fixtures a week later.
The draw, held at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland, pitched Real Madrid against Atletico Madrid with the former hosting the first leg.
The remaining German sides Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen will also face themselves in the Round of 16.
The remaining Round of 16 fixtures have PSG hosting Liverpool in the first leg, PSV against Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund v Lille, Club Brugge v Aston Villa, Feyenoord v Inter Milan and Benfica v Barcelona.
