Military, DSS, police rescue 20 kidnapped corps members in Imo

Security agencies, including the military, Department of State Services (DSS) and the police, have rescued 20 prospective National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members and a civilian who were kidnapped in Imo State.

The victims were rescued during an intelligence-led operation carried out jointly by the security agencies.

The operation led to the safe recovery of the 21 victims, who are currently receiving medical attention at a DSS facility in the state.

The authorities have not disclosed further details about the circumstances of the abduction or the operation that led to their rescue.
