Lagos State Police Command has announced the arrest of controversial Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, popularly known as Sam Larry.
He was arrested over an ongoing investigation into the death of singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Superintendent Benjamin Hundeyin who confirmed the development on his verified X page (formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday also said Sam Larry is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
He posted: “Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody.
“He is currently assisting with the ongoing investigation.”
It was learnt that Sam Larry arrived from Nairobi Kenya around 10 pm local time.
He was immediately picked by police officers to the command headquarters.
Arriving at the headquarters at about 10:30 pm, he was taken to see the commissioner of Police where he was questioned and handed over to DC Panti.
