This annual lecture series was instituted to honour the late former Governor of Lagos State, outstanding journalist, and former NGE President, Alhaji Lateef Jakande.
According to a statement on Friday by the Guild’s President, Mr. Eze Anaba; and General Secretary, Mr. Onuoha Ukeh, this year’s lecture theme is “Journalism and the Challenge of Nation-Building in a Multi-Ethnic Society”.
The lecture will be delivered by Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed at the Edmark D’Podium International Event Centre in Ikeja, Lagos, with Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, as Chairman.
